Cicatridina/Repadina
Cicatridina (sold as Repadina in the UK) is a hormone free treatment of vaginal dryness. The active principle of Cicatridina vaginal ovules is hyaluronic acid that guarantees a high level of healing, reducing the risk of bacterial contamination. Cicatridina also contains the natural oils centella asiatica, calendula, aloe vera and tea tree oil added in order to reduce vaginal dryness.
Cicatridina is used as an adjuvant in the repairing processes of the atrophic and dystrophic states of the vaginal mucosa. Cicatridina helps the tissue repairing process in the post-partum period, in connection with gynecological surgery and in connection with dystrophia caused by chemotherapy, ionizing radiation and senile dryness conditions as a result of estrogen deficiency. There are no known side effects to the product and no interactions have been reported among the users of more than three million packages sold in the EU over the past five years.
