IPC International completes successful equity increase

- New shares worth DKK 84 million have been subscribed for

- The proceeds are to be used for facilitating growth through acquisitions

In the period 22 June-17 July 2009, IPC International has completed subscription of new shares in a private placement. 184,000 new shares of nominal value of DKK 1 each have been subscribed for at a subscription price of DKK 456.51 per share. The subscription has resulted in gross proceeds of DKK 84 million.

IPC's strategy calls for both organic and acquisitive growth. Since IPC is fully capable of funding its current activities, the proceeds from the capital increase are solely to be used to capitalise on the attractive opportunities for acquiring companies, products and projects available in the market and thereby increase the pace at which IPC develops.

"We decided to raise at least DKK 50 million at the beginning of the summer holidays", says a content Claus Møller, CEO at IPC International. He is pleased about the support from the many new shareholders. "Despite the timing, we crossed the finish line and reached a better result than many people predicted. That is undoubtedly because of the many private investors' trust in our business model, our experienced team and the promising, potential acquisition candidates that we are in contact with" he continues.

The agreement to acquire NatImmune is the most recent example of the company's dedicated acquisition strategy, and the equity increase ensures that it is possible to maintain the desired pace for further acquisitions.

"Based on a strengthened equity base, we are now able to increase the tempo in the dialogue with potential acquisition candidates of which the three key companies represent a revenue of around DKK 200 million and a very important contribution to IPC's future development", says Claus Møller.
