Nimorazole

Nimorazole is a hypoxic radio sensitizer developed to be used in combination with radiation therapy for head and neck cancer patients. The purpose of adding Nimorazole is to increase the efficacy of radiation therapy treatment in terms of better local control and disease-specific survival as supported by major individual controlled clinical trials.

Nimorazole has been used for several years in Denmark in combination with radiation therapy. The product is now available in an optimized patented microgranulate formulation for sale on special license.

Tetrabenazine

Azanta has set up its own production of classic tetrabenazine and has it available in European cGMP condition for treatment of movement disorders associated with organic central nervous system conditions, e.g. Huntington's chorea, hemiballismus and senile chorea.

Thalidomide

Thalidomide is an agent with multifactorial activity and is a well-established treatment for multiple myeloma.

In addition, Azanta has new formulation called Thalidomide Modified Release Tablet under development. The product is developed to provide additional benefits compared to the currently available thalidomide product in terms of lowering peak plasma concentrations while maintaining total exposure. Thereby, the patients achieve the same efficacy, while obtaining fewer side effects.
